1923 February 16th - Launched.
   
" May 30th - Delivered as Khandalla for British India Steam Navigation Company at a cost of £283,600.
   
1930's Transferred to the Calcutta/Straits service.
   
1940 March - Requisitioned for the Liner Division.
 


1948 Passenger accommodation now 152 cabin-class.
   
1949 April 6th - Suffered a fire in her cotton cargo at Mombasa which was extinguished the following day without damage to the ship.
   
1951 December 13th - Sold to British Iron & Steel Corporation for £75,000 and the following month her initial dismantling was commenced by Arnott, Young & Co (Shipbreakers) Ltd at Dalmuir.
   
1952 March - Hulk towed to Troon for final demolition by West of Scotland Shipbreaking Co Ltd.
