1923 May 17th - Completed as Naringa for British India Steam Navigation Company at a cost of £199,100
   
1925 January 3rd - Collided with the Dutch steamer Celebes at Port Said and received severe damage to her stern which after patching up in Egypt, she was repaired at Bombay.
   
1940 March - Taken up under the Liner Division.
   
1942 Served as a Mule and Personnel Ship.
   
1948 Februrary 3rd - Suffered an outbreak of fire in her jute cargo at Marseilles, however, she was able to complete the voyage under her own power and discharge the rest of her cargo at Dundee.
   
" July 9th - Sold to the British Iron & Steel Corporation for £14,750 and moved on to Rosyth arriving there for demolition by Metal Industries (Salvage) Ltd.
