	14.06.1895 - Arrived Fremantle from Calcutta and Singapore, E Johnson Master, J. J. Munro chief, J. Fluker second, and Mr. Seriohe third ; Mr. Morrison is chief engineer. Cargo Included: 110 camels which had been loaded at Calcutta, two of which died on the voyage. Passengers included: Eighteen Afghan camel drivers.


	22.07.1895 - Argus from Melbourne and Svdney, bound for India, ran aground on X reef, Torres Strait. 14 miles south of Somerset. After remaining on the reef for about seven days, she was floated off, towed to Thursday Island, repaired continued her voyage. See map "Here", read newspaper articles from the time "Here".
